Body lifts are generally terrible unless functionally required. The only time I think a BL is required is a Tummy Tuck, because you are lifting the entire drivetrain as well, but thats just my opinon.

Do you have wheel spacers? Most people run Wheel spacers.

I think you should get a longer spring. Your ride would improve running a longer spring to get your desired lift than cranking yours to the max. Im running FJ springs which they said were a little longer and heavier than the Tacoma springs.

camburg.com is where I got mine. Call them and tell them what you got, and what your looking for and they should fix you up. I told them what I had and they were the ones that told me to run the heavier FJ springs because they were a bit longer. I have a plate winch bumper so they suggested the heavier coil as well. I didn't have to crank mine much at all, and Im super happy with how it rides.

You should give this thread a thorough read:

With those 285s, you'll need to do some trimming if you don't want to rub. You might be able to get away without doing a CMC if you have your alignment adjusted to maximum allowable castor. You'll also want aftermarket UCAs with that much if a lift. From the pics it looks like you might be rubbing on UCAs. Also wheel offset plays a big part. I recommend this over spacers.
