    White lithium in a spray can is ideal. WD40 sells white lithium spray. It will keep the hinge lubed for quite a while.

    Thanks Chris...I try to keep up with the little stuff on my truck. Even though I don't really baby my Tacoma I'm a firm believer in taking care of my stuff and getting the most for my money. I'm a product of good ole German Pennsylvania Dutch raising...lol
