*Disclaimer...I've searched, and searched...and I'm not seeing what I'm looking for.

    --
I have a 2016 2WD Double Cab. I am putting 4" Maxtracs up front, but I want to lift the rear 3". The "bro" just isn't something I'm into, so would rather have an even or aggressive stance.

Anyway, how does the AAL work? I see 1", 1.5" and 2", but nothing really close to 3". My question, can I do the 2" AAL and throw a 1" block underneath it?

I'm just doing it for looks and more clearance at the hunting lease.

    Thanks everyone.

I have the same leaf pack but it only provides a 2 inch lift. He is looking for a 3 inch lift in back. Gl finding one.

Dakars with the extra leaf or All Pro Expeditions.
I'd stay away from blocks; they act as a lever contributing to axle wrap.

Well they should be good for 2.5" even AFTER settling, if it's not enough then you can add the dx29xl leaf, but you may find that too rough. I'm running with an RTT on there full time. Anyways OP if you're only doing the spindles up front 2" in rear will put you level. If you get more from the Dakars then great. You could consider some 3degree shims as well that will give you a half inch also.

These OME Dakar Springs part # CS047R provide approximately 2.75″ lift. Leafs can be added or removed to custom tune them to your application if desired. Other parts that are recommended with these are our bushing set, longer u-bolt set, FK29 driveline carrier drop (for 05-current models) kit and rear shocks. Sold as a pair.

I just measured and there's exactly 1.5" difference from ground to fender.

    35" Front
    36.5" Rear

Sounds like I'd be OK with the Dakar Leaf Pack at 2.75".

*Another stupid question...everywhere I look they mention these are for 4wd, assuming they'll work fine for 2wd as well.

Yup- cs047r, you'll need a bushing set, and new bolts.

Is this a DIY job? I'm pretty handy and have tools. Do I need to pick up some jack stands? I'd like to try to do both spindles and leafs myself if I can.

Yes, doesn't hurt to have extra help. Need Jack stands and a good Jack. You'll need flare wrench for the brake lines, and a variety of hand wrenches up to 24mm. It can be done one man but wrestling the new leafs into place is a chore, I'm a big strong guy and it takes a bit to move them around and watch out for the brake lines.

Where you from? Buy some beer and meet some fellow mates from the board. You'll find the help you need.
