I was heading home from Home Depot with a load in the bed and was stopped at a light. After being stopped for about 30 seconds, the engine suddenly died. When I went to restart it, the ignition switch seemed dead and the starter wouldn't turn over. I tried a few times with no luck. All the other lights, radio, etc were working. I was stuck on a busy street and I turned on my 4-way flashers. Once I did that and tried to restart, it started right up. I turned off the flashers and drove home with no problems other than it seems to idle a little rough but not too bad. I have started it 4-5 times since and it seemed fine. Anyone have any ideas what may have happened?

Apparently one of those annoying intermittent electrical issues. Same thing happened to me once.
Replacing my starter relay seemed to take care of it.
Check your battery cables for tightness and/or corrosion.

Check "All" of the ground cables. Start at the battery and work outwards from that. All the relay boxes, fuses and anything electrical. You might have a ground strap from the block to the frame or to the fire wall.

I just had mine die on Saturday and it ended up being the battery terminals. Cleaned them up a little and was good to go. Only difference is that I had zero power to anything when that happened because power wasn't leaving the battery. Since you had power in the cab I don't know if that would have been the problem but that of course is a good place to start, then with the wires/grounds and then fuses. Those big ones get costly.
