We have a 1992 base Pickup 2 wd.
The trans kits from the parts stores have the trans filter and pan gasket together but they dont fit because the trucks original trans has apparently been changed from manual to auto.
All I have so far is a picture of the tag on the side of the trans.
The part store calls for a 19 hole pan gasket and we have a 14 hole.
Im trying to avoid making the silicone gasket because I dont trust my judgement on doing it correctly.
Any leads on where I might get the right gasket ?

    Just to follow up...
I did end up getting lucky and found the trans filter and pan gasket at local parts store online completely by accident.
I dont know if other year trans fit on a 1992 pickup or not but the kit I needed fits a 1983.
    Thanks.
