Just installed my 40" light bar on my roof rack this weekend... looks awesome, I love it. Testing the waters to see if any TW members would be interested in purchasing the mounts? let me know if you're interested. I'll make a few batches if there is enough interest.

Can you post some close up pics of your brackets? Looks great so far!

How did you mount the brackets? Did you just drill a screw into the plastic?

No you cant just drill into the plastic. I put backplates inside the rack, accompanied with some washers.

I ran it from the battery to the back of the wall, ran it down to the firewall on the passenger side. Punched through and came in behind the glovie and up through the column and through the roof, and connected it inside the rack.

It is steel, and I have heard it whistle a couple times, not anymore than I ever heard with just the rack on. It was windy and i was doing 70mph + when i heard it

Just wondering if you ended up making any of these brackets. Just bought a 40 inch light bar and looking at doing this. Alternatively do you have a pattern or any further photos.

Looks what I did for my 40" curved, It sure pisses off the oncoming traffic with a 40" and 30" on o_O I used stainless steel bolts and painted steel plate. Works good, that plastic roof rack is strong.
