    Hi All,
I'm looking to purchase a 3rd Gen soon. I have seen a few used 2016 Limited with around 12k miles come up for sale around Nor Cal.
My first question is has anyone bought a used truck with 12k on it? What should my check list be while inspecting the truck?
What are people paying for a used Limited? $36-$38K is what dealerships are listing them for, I figure I could get them down a couple grand.
    Thanks for the help.

nothing more than your standard used car/truck check offs.

And I doubt you will get them down much. They are pretty proud of those things.

Maybe in Northern California that is true, but not in north Texas or Oklahoma. In our area they were routinely discounting new LTD's several grand off MSRP. In fact, they still are. Therefore, I'd expect a used one to be discounted a good $5000.

I did get my new '17 3k below MSRP, but that's not how the used market works for Tacos/4Runners. You're much better off buying a new one. The depreciation is so low on the used ones that they won't budge at what they list them at - Texas resident here as well

I travel to Texas a lot for work. Maybe buying a new one there and driving it home is a better answer than going used in Nor Cal.

Deals can be had in my region. But I agree, if the discount isn't significant you might as well buy new.

Since it is end of month, there's no harm trying to get a fantastic deal. Test drive first, then make an offer. Walk if they waste your time and won't deal.

Win win if you save money. If you can get 10% off the price(avg NorCal sales tax), you're already ahead of the game

Road trip would be a blast.

Call my salesman if you are serious about buying in Texas. Tell him what you want and he'll look into Gulf States Region inventory and tell you when he could have it, and the price. His name is Jeff Raim. He's at Family Toyota of Burleson.
