    Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me understand the pros/cons of the shackle reversal kits that are out there?

I understand that it will help with droop (downtravel), but how does will it react to onroad characteristics and/or highspeed bumps?

My main issue is my truck feels very unbalanced. The front is great and very push over big bumps, but the rear tries to buck around. Fox 2.5 coilovers in the front, fox 2.0 in the rear, with stock springs.

I'd like better downtravel, but not if it's going to make onroad and highspeed ride quality any worse.

I can't say from experience what it will do to your ride quality, but an educated guess would say that a shackle flip will not help what you are experiencing. Before you change the factory mounting option your better bet, in my opinion, would be to either replace your leaf packs or add an AAL in there to revive the old current ones. I'm guessing if its an 06 with stock springs then they have sen better days for sure. I have Dakars on my 05 and they give me plenty of down travel and a solid feeling platform on the hwy.
