Please help, I don't know what I was thinking buying a truck without the tow package ,

But I need to throw a wiring harness in, and I'm praying..... PRAYING

That there's a harness that I can connect to somewhere under the truck and there's no splicing or wiring I have to do other than run the harness from the connector to the bumper.... Wishful thinking I know.....

A trailer harness is incredibly easy to install. Took me about 10 minutes to actually plug everything in, but it takes a lot longer to cable manage everything. It's truly plug n play, but it's a lot of work do make all the excess wiring pretty. You just remove the brake lights, plug each end of the wiring harness into the existing brake light harness, and it works as a coupler.

Bring a pillow unless you think concrete is comfortable. You're gonna be doing a lot of zip-tying.

Lol sounds like you came unprepared, I got a few craftsman mats, and a full lift if needed

Having a full garage with tools and a lift is somthing I wish everyone could have, I've never looked at a project and said shoot I wonder what kind of tools I'll need or if I'll beable to get to it, my uncle is a friggin Saint, my job tho.... I seem to buy all these parts and never have time to install them, I still got tranny cooler, custom grille, and the only thing keeping me from buying headers is cause I still haven't even fixed my paint chips I have the paint and clear coat it kills me

There are big disadvantages to a plug and play wiring harness, but if you don't tow very often it should last a few years. It took me a long time and hundreds of dollars in plug and play harnesses before I finally got help from someone who knew their shit. See here for what I mean: 2012 Tacoma Trailer Wiring Harness Price Puzzle

If it were me I would happily pay whatever the dealer wanted for a factory harness.
