Stock measurements are gonna be around 20 3/4" give or take.

It's gonna vary though between models. Prerunner vs 4x4, v6 vs v4, double cab vs ext. Cab. If you measure ground to wheel well different size tires comes into affect. And also how old/worn someone's coils are and how much they are now sagging.

Im stationed on Camp Pendleton, so Oceanside would be the closest actual city. I was thinking of something simple to start off with just to acclimate myself, having been in North Carolina for the past few years and Florida before that things are bound to be a bit different out here. My taco is pretty much stock for now... saving up for the next set of mods.

Id be down for the Big Bear run as well depending on the amount of snow... Obviously coming from the southeast I don't have too much experience with it.

You got it. Really a cool opportunity to meet local members, check out other peoples trucks, and ask questions. Plus really really good beer

Idyllwild is beautiful! Most the trails are relatively easy, 2wd guys make it through. @bigbarlo knows the area like the back of his hand

Don't think so. The creek should be raging though. I will call a couple folks and see if there is snow in the high country.

You should be good for Cleghorn, or Big Bear this weekend if they go. I don't see them taking any of the more difficult trails in the snow.

Just be prepared to take an extra 2 hours to make it down the mountain. All the city folk that go up for the snow seem to drive like they lost a chromosome when there's snow.
