Yea, definitely! I though the standard M8000 since it's cheaper and I could just upgrade to the MasterPull without breaking the bank....even though it's still a lot of money. :anonymous:

I just stumbled across your build page. Very nice work with your truck! How do you like those MTR's now that you've had them for a decent amount of time?

Check out the come up winches as well. I have heard nothing but great from those winches. I believe you can get a TW discount from sleep offroad as well. I run a smittybilt 9.5k with synthetic line. Haven't used it...yet lol

I love them! Off road, the grip is relentless, and on the highway they're not super loud. All around a very strong choice for tires. The only think I noticed right away way when I put them on how much more rubber there is. I went from 31s on 16s to 33s on 15s, just to give you an idea. Definitely would recommend them.

Yea, Come Up came out of nowhere. I've seen them all over Instagram. I'll probably PM someone sooner or later about them. Still leaning towards Warn though.

x2 for MTR's. Best tire i've ever run. They are an MT but quieter for one. On my second set

    @cbechtold @northwesttaco

Okay convince me to buy them. I need some feedback on highway >75 mph and street behavior both in dry conditions and in the rain/snow/ice. I really like those tires and I see everyone with them. How many miles did they last and is the truck your daily?

I drove down to Lake Tahoe and back (1700 miles round trip) at 75mph and they handled great. I've done 80-85mph passing someone and they seem great but I don't have experience at long lengths at that speed.

    As for rain/snow/ice:
Rain: They are a MT tire so it won't be the best but I have yet to slip at all. I think as long as you drive like a normal person you'll be fine (I.E don't rally rase around corners).
Snow: AMAZING. Best tire i've ever run in the snow. I haven't been able to put them to the full test since I just got lockers but with an LSD rear they were amazing.
Ice: Uh kinda hard to say cause no tire is good on ice unless it has studs but you can put those in these tires.

Last set I had was 20k miles and they had about 60% tread left. Upgraded in size. Truck is not a daily for me

What size are you looking at for them?

    Yeah typical mt review
Yeah typical mt i'd say lol. But I'm looking at them in a 285/75r16 most likely. And my truck is my dd

I wouldn't say they are a typical MT tire. They hook up extremely well in rocks unlike some and are really good on slickrock as well

I'll agree with most of this. I have to differ with the snow though. Unless you're locked front/rear I don't know how I feel about them. They don't unload as much as I wish they did. I did a snow trip in February and Iroks were overall a better tire for the snow. For rock crawling though, you couldn't ask for a better tire. Overall, it's just a solid tire.

I agree iroks are better, but for a tire to comfortably drive on the road it's an amazing tire

For an all around tire, it's really hard to beat the MTRs. Couldn't recommend them enough.

So here are the pictures of what Chance at CaliFab did. Added a simple mount for the RotoPaxs that I got a while back. Now I can't see anything behind me! :bananadance:

Clean, simple and strong! If you're at all in the Sacramento area, definitely check him out. Solid fab work comes out of him!
