So I know what It is but a little confused. I think I'm looking at a 2" spacer. I'm About to install a new lift.

Do I need a new top hat cause I thought the spacer would be under it? So lmk if I'm dumb or not haha

Looks like thats a level kit not a preload spacer. Top hat is between the spring and level kit

The bolts right above the spring should be what the kit is attached to.

Pic does look like there is no tophat however

Well a preload spacer goes between the spring and the top hat, level spacer goes above the tophat. Based on the bolts i see, i believe there is a top hat. Based on the pic looking like theres nothing but rubber between the spacer and spring, looks like no top hat.

But.. i cant imagine the suspension not riding like complete shit or making horrendous noises if you didnt have a tophat

Edit: just looked some other pics, looks like the tophat can compress and deform the rubber enough to sink into it. Id put money on there being a top hat there.

Both do the same job, they put the vehicle up and ride like poop but yeah well my suspension is so so so shitty but I bought it like this and already changing all the suspension on it.

Top hats should be fairly cheap right? Cause toytech sells there suspension assembled already so they have to have some in stock I assume
