You might be able to cover it with some bondo, then a light sanding and some modelers paint. Bobs your uncle, done.

Place a square base ram ball there use for different mounts. Or a thick decal.

~ dang that was long winded ~

    the advantage is...
you can easily remove your shifter surround to work on it outside the vehicle

Considering screw holes are already there, I would put a mount there for a small flashlight.
I've been meaning to do this to my truck but haven't wanted to drill holes, every vehicle should have a decent flashlight in it, and mounted to the consol sure beats rattling around somewhere getting lost

Just put some nice screws back in the holes like they were meant to be there in the first place.

Maybe someone had a cell phone mount, trailer brake mount, GPS mount..etc.. there.

    Or, junkyard new shifter surround.

The only thing that will Satisfy you is just buy a new piece from your dealer of choice and be done

Because you will always know those holes are there.

Another option sell this Truck and move on

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm leaning towards a nice decal or maybe some carbon fiber overlays

I could wrap it in Carbon Fiber, but you would have to ship the console to me for a couple weeks. I have quotes similar projects around $75.
