    Howdy all,

When I sold my Tacoma, I kept the cargo bars from the top of my shell to use for another project (mounting on my tonneau for carrying the RTT). Ended up not needing them that way, so they're excess. I had hoped to one day run across the truck's new owner so I could offer them the bars, but seeing as how I sold that rig over 3 years ago, that's pretty damned unlikely at this point. They've just been collecting dust in the corner of my garage so I want to get rid of them. Free of charge to anybody that wants them. I'm out in Lyon county.

They are the Dewalt heavy-duty aluminum bars from my commercial-grade cap. They're made by Thule, but are a permanent mount, not like their quick-remove light-duty bars. They through-bolt with backing plates.

One of the guys that works in my shop is the neighbor of the people who confronted these whitetrash losers and was telling me about this this morning. Glad they said something to those people, looks like they're definitely not the brightest trying to dump a giant couch in plain sight in the middle of the day. Hopefully they get a visit from the cops, sheriff or BLM and hit with a stupid-tax for trying to save $20 and force other to deal with their crap.

I'm glad someone was there to confront them but I'd be shocked if that couch didn't end up dumped somewhere else.

i hope they get hit with fines and several weekends worth of community service cleaning up illegal dump sites.

Some tweakers got caught in the process of dumping a couch on the side of a dirt road out in Red Rock somewhere.

The confrontation was filmed and the white trash girlfriend just mouthed off the whole time and didn't help her boyfriend load the couch back up. In the facebook thread the names of the dude and his girlfriend were posted along with the license plate number of the truck they were in.

The chick made some racist remarks in the video so the thread turned into a bit of a shitshow.

Apparently after shoving it back into the truck they drove off without it tied back in and floored it at the street causing it to slide out in the middle of the road.

Not that tweakers are usually good at paying their bills but don't people know they get a couple free dump runs a year by virtue of paying waste management for services. Maybe its only for home owners, not sure.

Either way I'm glad they got called out. I would dick punch the shit out someone doing that. Then I'd need to figure out what to do to the boyfriend.

That was actually something that the people in the video brought up to them. We get those vouchers, but they seem to only send them out 1 time a year so if you move around a lot you might not ever get them. We didn't until the 2nd year at the townhouse we were renting in town, now at our new place in spanish springs we already got them this year.

Not sure if it is true but my buddy told me that they can now look you up at the entrance booth and actually keep track of how many times you've used them. I guess I'll find out next time I go!

Thought I could get sub'd on this super local thread now that I frequent this site more often
here's my Taco maybe you've seen it around.
    up-coming mods this week:
-prinsu rack instal (with 40" light bar)
-fab up mounts for water port, highlift, traction boards, and shovel.
-instal new touch screen/ back up camera (anyone have experience with instilling these? i would hate to have to take it to Best Buy, but I have a lot of other projects that I don't want to install myself...)
-wrap hood/ roof in flat black vinyl (not to bro out; i'm getting a lot of sun fade and I need to mitigate it..)
-wash/clay/compound/poilish/wax, all this off roading has gone through my wax quick, need to seal her up again, and can't instal new mods with a dirty car haha (may hold off on compound/ polish till after duck season..)
-make a new fuze panel for my lights, I have it all wired correctly now, but it's a mess, and my ocd is killing me with all that wiring being everywhere..
