so I'm watching the jem of a movie which is jurassic park last night at some cult classic screening and I realize all of the park vehicles (from 1993 FYI) have the same damn tire I have. same tread pattern, just slightly different side wall, But the tread is THE SAME!

so then I'm thinking: bro, has anyone reviewed these tires yet? apparently yes.
But have they reviewed them on a island running wild with dinosaurs? hmm....

-aesthetics: the white letters really pop against the green of the ford explorers and the red wheels on the jeeps. bonus, apparently they have some kind of teflon anti dirt coating as they NEVER get dirty!

-discount pricing/group buy??: thinking this was the case because every vehicle has them, probably at 15% off thing.

    -performance: mixed
mud/wet: I counted at least two instances where they lost traction on muddy wet surfaces while on the jeep causing it to skid wildly off road and knock down a crucial road sign. This could have been contributed to the over weight person driving thus throwing off the weight distribution of the vehicle. either way, it resulted in the opportunity for some winching, but then ultimately the death of Newman. bummer. :pout: However a more skilled driver was able to out run a roaring tyrannosaurus in spite of a poorly placed tree some how only tearing off the windshield but not everyones heads.
dry: apparently its never dry in jurrasic park, or i didn't notice it because i was getting another beer.
Tree: did surprisingly well here. It even appeared to be some type of slick bark tree, but still the tires gripped well enough to keep the hanging ford explorer for falling, for awhile, and then allowed it to fall in a mostly controlled dramatic manner which afforded the occupants time to escape.
road noise: also unclear due to the near constant roaring...seriously, like non-stop.

-durability: not great. easily puncture by dinosaur teeth. Unsure how a dinosaur tooth compares to a large nail or rock, but does not bode well either way.

-longevity/wear: IDK, movie was only 2 hours long.

feel free to add anything I missed, overall I might go with the coopers next time.
