2015whitetaco's overlanding BS build

Hey guys so it is finally time to get started on a build thread!!!

My old truck a 1978 Ford F-250 2wd single cab long bed nicknamed Papa Smurf

I loved that truck but I needed something more reliable to commute to school in (60 miles a day minimum)
So I bought Phillip my Super white 2015 Double Cab Long Bed Base SR5 4x4


I bought the truck new November 7th 2014 with 130 miles on it annoyed

less then two weeks later I decided to listen to a bunch of girls "Lets go mudding"


It tool two tow trucks to get it out

I then upgraded the tires to General grabber At2s stock size though
A buddy of mine has property in Mendocino and he had his wedding there so of course we put the taco to work

Finally I started to mod the truck

(with help from my niece)
I quickly released that I was now snow balling and this was just the beginning I found out how screwed I was when I went to my first TW meet up and some how ended up next to @Mademan925

a couple weeks later I got dwarfed once again by @stroM- so that week I went out and bought some bigger tires wheels and bilstein 5100s for the truck
I installed the lift in my high school parking lot (I was a senior at the time) in between classes all by myself (its super easy but I had no clue what I was doing at the time)the next day went out and got dirty

I went to a hollister hills trip with
@VolcomTacoma @DannyBFresco @Overlanerd


I then went and picked up a bed rack an it happened to be the same day as the xmas tree run so I went to see them off

once again feeling dwarfed by all the nice rigs
about a week after that I went for my first snow trip with the Tacoma
A couple weeks after that I got a Tepui ayer (impulse buy)
and it gads been the best mod Ive done to my truck (so far)

then went on a trip with @EDDO to hollister and while he had to recover me from slipping down a hill it was a good day non the less


after that I decided to paint my bumpers white to match the truck


after that it was trips


then I got a camper shell
then an awning

Then more trips

 

I then got bigger tires finally full 33s

then started my month long road trip down the coast of California to Vegas then the Grand Canyon









then got new suspension

 

bad at updating but a couple weeks ago I got me a set of @SCSPerformance wheels and they are amazing

so this past week I had a little fun I went down to tepui and bought an Autana sky Tan with anti condensation mat and a black cover

I also picked up my snorkel and got that installed

How you been? Just thought the other day I hadn't seen you posting in a while.

 

I've been good just have had a lot going on lately hopefully ill be getting caught up soon so I can get back on tw
not that my trip down to so cal is done it should slow down
I need to get up your way for tacos and to see the new runner maybe in the next couple weeks or so
