Weird sounds emanating from the speakers when I turn on my new CaliRaised ditch lights.

    What did I do wrong?

Did you use add a fuse in radio spot?

I used the harness that CR supplied with the lights. Wired to the battery, fused, and relay-ed.

As a retired EE I would suggest checking out the first link in Jimmyh's post. There is apparently a switching circuit in the light system and judicious electrical filtering is in order.

Also, the routing of the wires in the light system can affect the problem. They should be as far from the radio power and antenna wiring as possible.
