Cold air intake first gen 2.7L?

    I just got a 2001 tacoma 4cyl 2.7 L, im looking for some better sound out of the exhaust and a little more horsepower. Iv'e been told a k&n cold air intake will improve the sound but im wondering if it really does and also if it can provide more power than the stock intake. Thanks guys

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Your stock intake already provide the coldest air you can hope to intake. By changing to the K&N you would just make it louder and it would take in warmer air. Not at all worth the money, unless you absolutely want the sound.

    Ok i had a feeling, thanks man, any catback exhaust mods you recommend without buying a kit? Resonator delete, muffler delete?

    I changed my muffler to flow master delta flow 40 series and it has been a nice increase in sound without being annoying. I have it as a side exit system. Cause I shortened and tucked it all away. Here are old pics of when it was new...
