My AVS tape is coming off. I'm ditching them once the weather techs come out.

Im waiting for someone to make a set that has brackets...like the ones on my 2005 CRV. not a huge fan of in channel visors, just from seeing vw customers with them....sometimes it messes with anti-pinch window motors (not sure if thats a thing on tacomas)

If that is where the window has automatic roll up and will roll back down if it hits something such as your arm then yes it does

I was waiting on these since I got my Tacoma, but grew impatient. I ended up getting the AVS ones and am satisfied with their product.

I went with the AVS and am pleased so far. The instructions do say not to go through a car wash with them. Had no problems with the Weather Tech I have on my Sequoia . I also am pleased with my Weather Tech bed liner.

Avs gives you an abrasive pad to ruff up the window rubber before install. If you do it right they won't come off. I love mine!

Abs inchannel work great and don't rub like the thicker weather tech did on the 2nd generation

yup. when the window contacts something while going up, it causes the electrical resistance for the motor to go up, and the computer sees the change in resistance and reverses the polarity on the motor.... soooo many customers complaining about it.

I have the avs in channel visors and mine works perfectly. I've never had any trouble and I use the automatic roll up every time

My Weathertechs should get here next week. If I don't see any other photos, I'll post them up once I toss them on.

Also, you guys holding out for the Weathertechs can thank me. I ordered my AVS in Channels on the Tuesday before Turkey Day... got the email from Weathertech on Thanksgiving morning. I have a shipping costs only set of 2016, dual cab AVS in channels for the first Taco head to message me. Merry Xmas.

EDIT: Aandd, they're gone to SupaWhiteTaco. Ho ho ho and all that!

    Mine have been great.

700 mile road trip and a few OR trips with low hanging tree branches and they still work. Not bad for $60 bucks on Amazon.

They're here and they're on. The clips on the driver side back window were cake, the passenger side took 15 minutes to get on. It took about 5 minutes to get the front two and driver side rear. Back use clips, fronts are normal weathertech fit, which is fantastic.

As usual, better to do this when it's warm outside (not that it's cold here) as it always makes this stuff easier.
