I decided I needed a lift before I even bought my truck. Should have it on after new years if all goes as planned. :)

Same here, mine's my daily driver and I don't have sliders yet. Just got my lift and still need to get ECGS bushing to solve that groan. :/

Yeah its the TRD OR 4x4. Stock right now, but should be getting 5100s up front and maybe in the back as well. Only looking to level it out really. Pretty happy with the height.

Looking for sliders also. Just have to save those dollars first. I'm not a big fan of the TRD OR wheels, but thats a whole other can of worms. I must have read 100 pages of wheel posts on here and I'm still no better in understanding what will fit correctly.

My hope is those SCS Ray10s but i really dont want to have to do the CMC or deal with rubbing.

I know it's only 1/2" more clearance. I was I ly meaning the physical size off the wheel/tire.

I hate the stock OR wheels. I would have replaced them day 1 but put too much down to afford them for the first 2 months I had the truck. Love the look now! plastic dipped the grill and rear chrome bumpers to finish off the main things I didn't like about the OR. I knew I wanted sliders as soon as I could after the wheels, ordered last week and now I'm just waiting!

I don't necessarily want a lift but I do like them. I'll end up spending too much when I do lift.

So all this CO talk earlier and I had to look up the pics from my last 2 trips.

I highly recommend the Alpine loop later in the year, like after June 15 if you have never been before.

1st pic is right around 6/15/2016 near the top of Cinnamon Pass, 2nd pic is 5/29ish/2015 in about the same area. In 2015 we were one of just a few vehicles that made it over Cinnamon, Engineer was still closed.

I will be going again this year, just trying to figure out the timing. If you go late enough in the year, Black Bear is open (Black Bear is on my to do list) but if you go earlier there is less people.

Nice. I'm not sure what brand I'll go with down the road. The only thing I know for sure is I'll go for around 2.5" total lift. I'll probably do it in the next year or 2 but could easily see it costing $5k or more just for the parts. I'll install it myself whenever my health allows me to do the work. Once that happens i'll also go to 33" tires. I dont really want any bigger because it is and will be my DD.

I love my scs wheels but depending on tire size you may not have to do the CMC. I did the chopping but never welded a plate back over and it's fine. Collects a little more mud but easier to clean. The cheaper and stronger sliders will all be weld on which is what I would do.

Do the CMC. Get the plate welded on. @achirdo did mine and I'm really happy with his price and schedule.

Pablo at Tandem does them too, IIRC, but I haven't seen it for sure.

I tell myself every now and then I'll do it and pull out the welder just to get side tracked and never get to it. Maybe one day

I would like to just stay with the stock size 265/70/r16 and get some K02s. Again...thats money down the rode. I'm working with Tandam right now for a quote to get some 5100s upfront to help level it.

Trdparts4u is also fairly priced. I walked in and told them what I needed and actually walked out with half if it since it was in stock.

    posted in other thread:
Ordered the below parts for my lift which should be here 12/5-12/6 per UPS and Fed Ex, this is for an 04 Prerunner DC:
    Front:
    OME 883 and Nitrochargers (preassembled)
1/4" Spacer for driver side (to combat lean)
    Rear:
    Dakar leaf set
    Nitrochargers
    Ubolts
    Bushings
    BPV bracket
    Exhaust bracket
    Extended brake line for rear
As I posted in a different thread, the quote from Tandem came back at $700 and ive just received a quote from a second shop, which I wont name cuz they quoted me almost $1000 just for install. These prices seem on the high end.
Looking for anyone that has skills to install, I do not have the know how nor tools, just willing to learn. My garage is being overtaken by my wifes Xmas decor, so this would need to take place somewhere besides my place. I am in N Dallas, Addison area and willing to drive wherever. As long as parts come in as planned, looking for a weekend, perhaps Dec 10-11 or Dec 17-18
Willing to supply beer or beverage of choice, food
    Thanks in advance
