    Google tacoma bolt on rock sliders.
    I did and saw a few for $300
    Ebay has few..
    Obviously for real tough ones by big name companies will be $500 ish
    But a cheap pair of sliders gotta be better option than nerd bars. :thumbsup:

    Just installed them on my 2017 TRD Off Road. Great price and very easy install. They bolted directly into the rethreaded factory holes. They feel pretty solid, haven't hit them on anything yet. They drop down to just above the level of the frame. They stick out the sides just enough to prevent a door ding. Here are some pics.

    These are dumb. Real sliders are in the same price range and you can jack on them and drop the truck on them on rocks. These will bend and possibly even fuck your rockers up. The fact that they even dare call it "armor" is laughable. If you just need steps get steps.

    These are as good as any step bar.

    They are not sliders, do not use them for protection from anything but shopping carts and car doors.

    For those that like the minimal look of sliders, but need steps...these look fantastic! You're always gonna have haters out there that either aren't gonna like what you have, are jealous of what you have or are pissed because you got something they would've gotten, but didn't know they were available. IBMEUBU! BTW, I haven't seen any sliders that are already powder coated, bolt on that are at the $250 range.

    Mine worked great in Joshua tree. Dropped it pretty hard on them enough to scrape them up, but no dents, no rocker panel damage and they never moved or wiggled.I like them, I am keeping them. Don't plan on bashing up my daily driver plus it's a 2wd.

    Thinking of getting the Tyger Armor DC for my AC Taco for wheel to wheel coverage and a step to the bed. I've read the front two brackets line up but would have to drill holes for the rear bracket. Has anyone done this? After the holes are drilled what would the bolts thread to?
