So I just bought a 2012 tacoma starting sort of a build thread/ questions thread.

So she's grey trd offroad and bonestock when I got it. So far in the past 2 months I've put an ome lift on it with Dakar leafs out back, I'm not "impressed" considering my old 1St Gen with Chevy 63's and bilstein struts rode 10x better.. In the end I have plans to long travel it but not for a couple years, I will be stuffing 35's under it because my buddy gave me a deal on mtr's I could not pass up, but I have no idea to what extent people have gone with trimming to get them to fit properly. Show me what you have done to make it happen!

So I finally have the 35's on, got the bumper to where I like it just need to build a skid and side bracing to the frame, and the winch will come later.

This what the cab mount looks like, looks like it was meant to be, just need to figure out what I want to do about the fenders, the tires don't rub bad with minor trimming but I went to sloquet hotsprings for the new year just about lost a fender so I took it in for an alignment again and it was off, just after 1 month! But it fixed numerous issues with steering and it's all within perfect spec.

Damn and I thought stuffing 33s with a 3" was tight.

Wired up the 32" lightbar plus the little pods oh man they bright! Next is to chop the front crossmember and move it up(why place it so low toyota) or use a different piece of steel. And fab up my skid.

Finally painted my front bumper, welded on tow points, cut out the front crossmember, found the frame bumper mounts to be cracked, welded them up for now, but I'm gunna have to cut them out and fab some new ones, and of course a skid plate once I put the long travel in, oh and I bought a front long travel kit #total chaos got some axles too so all I need are some coil overs!

The long travel is in! Now that I have hit some stuff, I quickly found the rear to be insufficient, luckily my biddy is getting rid of his deavers

Just an update, I'm loving the total chaos kit and the King's, a little soft for how hard I drive but performs very well so, I'm happy!

Gunna get started on the rear bumper and rewire all the led light with proper relay'd wiring. And put a kill switch in for theft purposes and a killswitch for the traction control because it's just brutal lol

And in the photo the location is in Chilliwack British Columbia and to the left is cheam and to the right is lady which I hiked up today!

Hey, finally got around to completing the crossmember mod up front which increases approach angle, and strength overall, also fabbed up this rear bumper not long ago too!

Another update! Built my skid plate a couple weeks ago, bought an rtt on Fri and built a rack for it on Sat, I have to build some box stiffening brackets though, I hit a jump and all the movement had made my P/S taillight lense hit the bumper and knocked it off!!
