It is a true 3 inch lift up front from stock! Up front it is a fully aluminum spacer that sits on top of your shock strut in the back is a one inch aluminum block! Everything aligned just fine without the upper control arms... But I will be replacing them one day! the only rubbing I had was due to my tires being to wide 285 75 R16 if that is the tire you want you will have to run spacers with stock wheels!

I love this kit it has done right by me so far! the 5100's will make it all the better I personally just kept my stock suspension!

I will say if you are going to be off roading a lot and flexing out the suspension over and over Id probably choose a complete suspension replacement

Sweet man! I wanna keep the stock suspension. I currently have a 2" block up front nothing in rear and wheel spacers to clear the UCA's. I run 285/70/17 on stock wheels so I needed them.

    Thanks for the review!

Does anyone know if there is lean on the driver side after installing a spacer lift like ReadyLift or LROR or RoughCountry? I see a lot of people that do suspension lifts having to install a 1/4" spacer plate on the driver side for a lean that the tacomas have. Just don't know if it's the same with a spacer/block lift?

@TurnLeft If you don't want to deal with having to lift and trim and do cmc then I'd stick with the 265/75/16.

For those of you running the 285 on a 2017 tacoma I have to ask how the truck drives and shifts?
Does the transmission shift ok in town and on the highway?
Are the taller tires a noticeable drain on power?

    Thanks!

295's fit pretty well, Americas said that's the widest they'd mount on a 7" wide wheel.

    all tore up already
spacer is because toyota factory coil springs are side specific. aftermarket ones are not. the spacer brings aftermarket back to similar as OEM(heavier weight drivers side) so no you dont need unless you replace the front springs

2016 SR5. Low Range Off Road 3" / 1" lift. I haven't personally measured, but the install video showed a gain of roughly 3.125" or 3.5" in front, and a gain of 1.75" in rear. I'm still sitting on the stock 16" wheels and stock 245/75r16 tires. I think I want to go up to a 275/70r16 or 285/75r16 tire and put them on the stock wheel. I can't decide on tire size, because I may end up lifting it more, with the addition of some 4" Maxtrac spindles, and a 2.5" rear AAL + 2" block. I've also got to be careful I don't bog the 2.7 down too much more, with the added tire weight.

20161219_131235.jpg just installed the 2nd Gen Bilstein 5100 with 887 coils, 1/4" driver side spacer with the Deaver AAL. And yes, I'm still on my stock 265/65/17 tires

It's really not too bad, it didn't really change when the lift was added
