LCE header , magnaflow high flow cat.
    Have a 1996 T-100 2wd auto 3RZ.

Truck about 2 years ago truck threw a code P0141 for the oxygen sensor.
Last year I replaced the front sensor and the light remained.
I continued to drive the truck as normal since it didnt seem to affect mileage at all.
Last month the oem cat converter rotted out and i noiced the rear sensor was barely held in at all .

I replaced the entire midpipe section , cat converter and all .
Also picked up an LCE Header for a good deal.

Got everything installed , cleared the codes and drove for 2 day with no issues .

    Boom code comes back P0141

I have the wiring diagram for the truck .

I tested all the wires from both sensors back to the ecu in the kick panel to determine if any wires were broken ...

    All checked out fine .

Front sensor colors are black and pink/green and white/red and brown

Rear sensor colors are white and red/green and white/red and brown

I guess that brown always shows 12volt with key on and white/red is ground , these wire are common to both sensors.

When i run the truck and plug in my scanner I can see live feedback from both sensors , that makes me think that the sensors are doing their job .

Can it be the ecu ?

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks

The sensors are working, but the code is for the heating element in the sensors. The heater gets them to operating temperature faster after startup.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
More than likely. Make sure you replace it with the OEM Denso sensor. Toyota is known for not "liking" non-OEM sensors.

Replaced Rear Sensor with Denso one . Works great no issues!

    Thank you again
