hey everyone! I have a 00 taco 4x4 and one night i decided to see if the 4wd drive still worked because of snow in the forecast and when I did the jackstand test I noticed the rear tires were spinning but the front ones were not. I looked under the truck and saw the front and rear drive shafts both spinning and the front cv axles spinning but the wheels were not. Then I engaged my manual lockers and the front wheels drove me off the stands. My question is, why doesn't one of the front wheels spin without the lockers?
    Thanks in advance!

the manual lockers are just that, open until they are "locked" which then engages the axle shaft. a lot of people prefer these due to less chance of the vacuum actuator failing

Locking hubs (what you have) does not equal a locker, or diff lock.

Your Manual hubs are not actually locking to your front CV axles until you manually lock them, it's a blessing and a curse. I also have manual locking front hubs. So when you put your truck in 4wd it is not really in 4wd until you lock those front hubs outside the truck.
