okay guys, since I want these calendars to be produced and shipped before the year ends, I will let @tcBob to randomly assign the pictures to each month. This will make it easier to compile the calendars vs more voting rounds, etc.

Introducing the first annual Tacomaworld calendar!

I would like to thank @tcBob and all other moderators for helping us make this possible.

I brought up the idea of starting a calendar featuring the best of Tacomaworld's builds sometime last year. It really didn't take off because it was so late in the year and it didn't have so much exposure.

So this is pretty much what I would like to do:

Have submittals and voting threads that would allow us to select at least 12 total builds for a 2017 calendar.

Once all 12 vehicles have been selected, the pictures will be watermarked and submitted to @tcBob to create into a Calendar we can all enjoy for the next 12 months.

Anyone that would want a calendar would have to purchase them thru @tcBob.

Make sense?

Here is more information:

The calender will be limited to active members on Tacomaworld or members that have taken the time to create a build thread.

It will be composed of:

three first generation builds
three second generation builds
three third generation builds
three other non Tacoma builds*

*Non Tacoma builds must be - Toyota and from an active member with a build thread on TW(4runner, Land Cruiser, Toyota Truck, Tundra, FJ Cruiser etc)

Each participant is able to post up to two pictures of their build. If a participant has more than one build, he can submit two pictures of each build currently owned.

Submittal and voting process will be as follows:

Week 1 - Participants will submit pictures for first generation builds (Link to thread).
Week 2 - Thread will be locked and general audience will be allowed to vote by clicking "Like" on posts. The top three submissions will each win a spot in the 2017 calendars

Week 3 - Participants will submit pictures for second generation builds (Link to thread).
Week 4 - Thread will be locked and general audience will be allowed to vote by clicking "Like" on posts. The top three submissions will each win a spot in the 2017 calendars

Week 5 - Participants will submit pictures for third generation builds (Link to thread).
Week 6 - Thread will be locked and general audience will be allowed to vote by clicking "Like" on posts. The top three submissions will each win a spot in the 2017 calendars

Week 7 - Participants will submit pictures for non Tacoma builds. (Link to thread)
Week 8 - Thread will be locked and general audience will be allowed to vote by clicking "Like" on posts. The top three submissions will each win a spot in the 2017 calendars
After week 8, all pictures will be collected to be sent to @tcBob for calendar production.

Rules of engagement:

1. One picture per post, per participant. If you have two pictures or more than one build, post ONE picture per post. This will make voting easier.

2. Please, NO BS, chit chat, critiques, etc in submission threads. Use THIS thread for BS, recommendations, chit chat, etc.

3. Refrain from hitting "Like" until submission of all photos have been completed and thread locks.

4. You are allowed to do some editing, but don't go crazy.

5. Keep it safe for work. We don't want to see your hot wife in a bikini washing the truck.

6. You will need a high resolution version of your photo for calendar production. If you can't submit a good enough photo, a runner up will take your place. Sorry, we can't have any delays.

7. Please do not post any descriptions during submissions. Just post a picture, simple as that.

8. Everyone has one week to submit a picture and/or vote. Once this process is over, it is over. Too late. No cigar.

9. Tie breakers will be done by moderators - It may or may not be done anonymously

10. Picture with the MOST likes out of ALL submissions will be featured on the cover page of the calendar (IF the print shop is able to do a cover page)

11. Any active member with a Tacoma build can participate, only the members submitting non-Tacoma builds must have a build thread here on TW.

12. Moderators have all the right to delete submissions and or modify these rules.

13. If one winner has two pictures of the same build in the top three, winner will pick which one will be featured in the calendar. 4th runner up will be allowed to take the 3rd spot. - To be fair to all participants.

14. Let's have fun!

**Think out of the box guys. Picture can include your trailer build, your truck under construction, your truck stuck in mud or flipped over in a ditch, your camping setup.

As long as your build is shown in its entirety - foreground or background, it qualifies**
