    as in anything else the actions of a few influence the opinions of all. As in my shop one person does halfassed work and no one sees it as something he did but something the body shop did. try another dealership, show them some loyalty, have a sit down with the service manager and explain what the other place did and maybe you'll have completely positive experiences. the service department and parts at my local dealership is fantastic as i'm sure many others are

    won't buy me a metal brake. what you can't see is underneith all the support arms are hand broke and fabbed. i wouldn't have a clue how to work an english wheel or stretcher/shrinker but would love to give it a try. I have to hand shape everything from these fenders to doors for tool bins to rocker panels. he won't buy the tools but will complain about the time it takes

    try a sit down with your current service manager if that doesn't work try another dealer. Most dealerships are full of knowlegable techs like mike just have to find the rt one. i don't change the oil in anything anymore. all my vehicles go to the dealership for service so they reflect good service records which really helped when toyota rebuilt my scion engine with 180k on it

    An English wheel is nothing more then a different type of stretching machine pressure down on the wheel to the metal with the backing wheel pushing up forces a curve to occur though you could not get a really tight curve you can work concave / convex surfaces where on a standard shrink / stretch machine you can only work in one axis at a time English wheels work two. I want to make this clear though lol I am NOT a body guy never tried it and not sure I could I am to used to being able to get to both sides or just cut out and replace the sections. Aerodynamic smoothing compound .. and I are friends lol on paper I can paint which means it says so in my training records ... I know the technical parts but DO NOT HAVE THE TOUCH lol :}
