Use stock ring and pinion. He may have you get shims but shouldn't need any other big items. Unless your ring and pinion is trashed like mine was. But if you didn't break anything then I wouldn't replace ring and pinion.

I often talk to Ward Harris - Cruiser Brothers - and he said that Harrop is getting ready to enter the North American market and either already have part numbers for 2nd gen Tacoma's, or are getting ready to have them. I'm certain that he will stock them if he doesn't already.

To anyone wanting a locker on a 4x2: I drove an 03 prerunner TRD (with rear locker) for 8 years in Canada with lots of snow and ice all winter, and was in mud occasionally through the summer. In my opinion the locker was damn near useless UNLESS the tires have good traction. If I ever got a little stuck in snow or mud I wouldn't even use the locker because if often made it worse. 4x4 with the locker is amazing, and I guess a locker is better than none in a 4x2- that being said it will rarely be a day saver in my opinion in a 4x2. Solid dirt with good grip it hooks up great- snow and mud don't waste your time or money.. just my experience.

I'm wanting a solid answer to this question as well. I believe the answer is no from my previous searches. I believe it has to do with how the 4WD system engages or something like that.

I for one would LOVE a proper LSD like the TruTrac in the front. That would be perfection.

Yea same here, an e-locker for the front would be nice too. But kind of pricey
