Yes... No lettering per chads safety guy... I have failed before for a udown on my windshield and it was in compliance with the as1 line and the guy told me no lettering.. He gave me a razor to cut it off though... I put a new one on that night so it's whatever

 

Won't the light bar fail him as well?

Hey, any recommendations on a good dent repair shop? I notice a small dent on my tail gate when I left the gym the other day. I checked Yelp but wanted to see if anyone here had any good experience or knew a guy. Any recommendation or help is greatly appreciated.

 

Depends on the shop. Technically as long as it is under 54" and does not come on with the head lights it's not illegal. But that doesn't mean it's legal lol. It's safest to cover it, or unhook the power and say it's non-functional just for show. Mine I wired to a switch and the high beams and told them it only comes on if the switch is on and the high beams are on, they were fine with that for some reason. That's the law in Austraillia so I thought I'd give it a try

 

Picked up a set of TYC projector headlights. How bad or good can they be?

Who did u get these from? These look like my old retrofits when I traded in my tacoma. I can tell cause the shroud area is held on with jb weld cause trs didn't send me the shroud clips and I wanted them on the truck already so I had to Jimmy rig um. If these are my old ones they are fxr retros

 

Some guy from Kaneohe/Kahaluu side. He seemed pretty cool but knew nothing about them. He just never installed them.
