Yes, Consumer Reports who pretty much has the biggest hard on for everything Toyota or Lexus, of Honda or Subaru produces - except the Tacoma.

How do you know what their data says "howling holes" and "tsb trannies"? You have access to it or just talking out of your backside?

Yes, long term Toyota quality is excellent as CR and many other publications point out - but those are for other cars in their fleet, and the Tundra. The Tacoma as it stands now is bottom of the barrel for mid sized quality. F'ning GM beat them out....the 3rd gen Tacoma is the Fiat/Chrysler of the mid sized market.

Says the guy who rabidly comes to these forms to constantly defend all things Toyota. When are you going to come out and admit you work for them directly or indirectly like through a dealership? I've asked you this before, but no answer.

When I see people constantly bitchin about howling lca holes, cps sensors failing all over the country, and Nissan has risen to the greatest, it deserves correction.

I would NEVER buy a gm or Chity. I don't work for Toyota or any car dealer. I am an engineer and use logic in my decisions.

You are basing those initial quality surveys like I said on the Tranny tsb, cps's, glue on a hood and a few diff howls. And so you say go buy a Chevy or GM ? LOL !!!

I think long term, not 12 months with some bs problems that are easily fixable if you even have them.

    BTW I have ZERO issues.
Biggest problem I have is finding time to change the oil.

Look at Hondas that had missing c clips in the engine connecting rods that halted production this year. Now that's a freakin problem.

Are you drunk or are you rabidly foaming at the mouth, ready to defend all things Toyota without even thinking things through?

I'm basing those on the tranny, tsbs and a few diff howls???? I don't work for CR or JD Powers. I (or you) don't have access to their data to make statements like that.

When did I say buy a GM or Chevy?

How old are you? Do you even own a Tacoma or just some kid who has dreams of owning one?

Lets start insulting now I guess. When logic fails that's the result usually.
    Sorry, you love Nissan.
We are worthy of your opinions. Forgive us.

I would hate to be your wife, girlfriend or boyfriend if you act with them like you do on these forums. Sorry to say it but I think you'll die a lonely, bitter man.

The problem is you are not using logic. You just make statements with ZERO evidence (like you know what the actual CR or JD powers data points look like or that I'm recommending someone buy a Nissan or GM/Chevy) or go back and change them after the fact like you did with the above quote.

My evidence is Toyota has and always will beat Chevy, and Nissan. It's true and you know it.

[Previous Quote] "You asked why I am here. I participate on a Nissan, Chevy, Honda as well as TW to gather information regarding my future purchase of a "midsize" pickup. Guess you would have been happier if I stated the new 3G Tacoma is the best in the world and all other midsize trucks are junk. I see the pros and cons in the Tacoma. As well as I see the pro/con with the Nissan or GMC/Chevy twins. So far the Tacoma is my second choice. Yes, I have test drove the 3G more than once."

Some people like vanilla some like chocolate. So buy your first choice, participate in their forum, and drive happy and safe!
