When I bought my 2016 Tacoma DCSB OR, I bought an Undercover Flex bed cover from the dealer - it's the one they sell. I would have gotten the OEM cover, but it was used and didn't have it. The dealer installed the Undercover Flex for me.

My cover leaks at the front corners by the bed. But, I don't think it is the cover itself. When I crawl up there and look, I can see a gap in the corner of the bed below the cover, where I think the water is coming in.

It's almost like there is a part missing in the bed, or maybe the dealer didn't put the front rail back together right when installing the bed. Has anyone else noticed this or had this problem?

I took my truck into the dealer on Saturday and they have attempted to seal up the gap. I need to take the truck through the car wash and see if water gets through, but haven't yet.

Well, if anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

I took it through the car wash and it still leaks in the corners, but not from where they tried to seal it up. So, it must be the cover leaking.

The dealership said it's not waterproof, which I understand. But, not being waterproof and having a bad leak are two different things. If this is their version of not waterproof, then they willfully sold a defective product and I should be able to return it and get my money back.

    Anybody agree? Thanks.

It's not defective. Just installed improperly.

The gap areas need a proper gasket built and installed. It's cheap and easy; for me not even worth bothering with the dealer over. I mean they didn't get it right the first time..........

Or you could call Undercover and ask about 'parts' for your truck, like a gasket for those corners, or another authorized installer in your area to service it for you.

But be careful. Odds are the dealer sublet it initially. You don't want to go back to the same shop.

Thanks. I checked, though, and they did install a gasket. It was an add on part from the manufacturer. Also, when I brought it back in, they put some putty in where I could still see a gap, and I don't really see a gap anymore. It doesn't seem like it is leaking from the gap area, so I am thinking it must just be the cover itself leaking in the corners.

How easy is it to remove for those instances where you need to load the truck up, then put it back on? Been looking for a while for a Tonneau cover.

The mx4 reinstall the rails a little lower and it is low enough to keep your cleats in.

Are those OEM seats? I don't care for my stock seat skins and I miss having leather seats.
