Knowing toyota and their metal, it will probably rust within a few weeks.

I'm now convinced that folks here will complain about anything. Even when it's free.

Don't throw all 2nd gen owners under the bus. My frame is in very good condition.
OP should get a hitch mounted BBQ to use those tools (and keep them in the truck).

Make no mistake, that wasn't a free BBQ set....in actuality you most likely even overpaid for it.

    Hahaha. Still cool though!

Nice gesture by the dealer. The Lexus dealer sent us a nice gift from Williams Sonoma for purchasing our ES350 but I did not get anything from the Toyota dealer after purchasing my Tacoma. Unless you count the Katzkin leather when I complained about my OEM seat covers ;).

I wasn't complaining, just cracking a joke that went over a few heads I guess...or some were just butt hurt. Wish I had received something like that when I bought mine years ago, woulda been pretty sweet.

Oh, bbq tools. I thought it was a frame maintenance tool kit. Looked like assorted rust scrapers and a Fluid Film brush.

I think they are awesome. I love stuff like that. Makes you think about your Tacoma while grilling. I got a hat from my dealership, I wear it.
