    All the money on the planet,,sad to say,,wouldn't help that much. Going to see Mars,,will help us to really realize, our same not-to distant fate that awaits. It will change things,,for the future. If we make it that far(generations ahead),,we will have to get off this exposed rock.

    Actually, space exploration helps us take care of this planet. Tremendous amounts of technology come out of the space program.

    I am sure that the technology was not what you are referring to - I just wanted to remind you that all those expenditures are not a complete waste of money.
