Ugh I know i've been debating on taking them down.. But its so much stuff to take out. I could just throw the boxes in the bed when I go wheeling and keep them in the garage the rest of the time.

Yeah it really is. Makes me mad someone would even think its okay to open it but what ever its life.

They're thinking daddy bought it for him, it's ok because daddy will buy another one. Never consider that maybe there was a lot of hard work behind being able to afford that stuff. Which just makes me that much more upset.

I'd mount them in the bed.... they scream steal me when they are up like that... in the bed they aren't as visible for someone just driving by.... I'd just someone fab up a shallow box for the platform in your bed

An absolute last minute decision turned out to be a fantastic one. The pass got 17" of snow last night and I decided to join some friends up Tonga Ridge. Got there at 8am as a bunch of jeeps were unloading off trailers.

We quickly aired down hoping to beat them up to the pow pow but 3 of them passed.. Eventually we caught up to them airing down in the middle of the trail where we couldn't go around.. such an asshole move.

But the snow was so deep, around 5-6ft.

When I thought it was deep..

1st gen 4runner running 37's for reference.. Right after this was taken he went in the ditch on the right. I had to pass him for him to winch off my bumper (my winch just drug him through the ditch). So locked the front and rear and went right through that wall of snow on the left! I was shocked at how well this truck does but also fantastic snow to go in

    Aftermath..

What kind of suspension do I have again?

I had to make a turn around and to show how deep the snow was.. its up past my tail gate.

More will be coming in but it was a blast. Aired down to 3psi no problem, and so happy I got a front locker for the snow!!

Random post amidst all the fellas...Are you still running Dakars with the AAL? Asking around if I should wait for Allpro expo or go with OME. Won't be running around with rtt but have swing out from Billy at bruteforce and things got my ass sagging without the spare on.
Don't want to be stink butt though either with the AAL and pinching pennies

    DEAL

Yup! You shouldn't need the AAL though unless you haul a lot for camping or something else. I would go with the regular pack and see how you like the height (after it settles) and go from there. Also no matter what pack you go with make sure to fix the squeak issues before they begin.

One more final to go at school then its go time on this thing! So much maintenance to catch up on.
Went up in the snow again Saturday, only got into 2ft of powder but it turned into quite the shit show. Too many people who shouldn't have been up there.

Also going to look at this trailer this weekend. Thinking about a trip to Moab in the spring, Colorado trip next summer along with the annual Tahoe trip we are now doing ill be getting some good use out of it. 2016 FabForm 18ft 10k with drive over fenders. Wasn't expecting to get one until spring but this one came up

Sure am, for a few reasons:
    - Trips to Colorado, and Tahoe (annually) in the works and when ever I go to moab in the future, it's a ton of road miles since they are all 1000+ miles each way.
    - Shit happens and you never know what might break or get bent. Don't want to worry about hoping the trail fix will withstand 100+ miles for when I go to Naches on the weekends. And with long trips I won't have to worry about finding a place to fix my truck, finding the right parts etc.. Especially after the Rubicon, im lucky that my shackle hangers didn't bend more and cause me to dog leg badly. Anymore bent and I wouldn't have been able to drive back.
    - If anyone else breaks something I can tow them back.
    - I can use my dads truck to tow it when ever I need.
    - The tow pig is a hell of a lot more comfortable, quiet, and is more fuel efficient towing my truck than driving it.

If I bent my shackle hangers worse on the rubicon I wouldn't have been able to drive home without a crooked axle. With a trailer I can just put it on and not worry about where to find a new shackle hanger, a place to work on my truck (in this case Jason said I was more than welcome at his place) and how many days I would be delayed coming home.
