I did wind up going back to the area on a one night, solo camping trip just to get some time away. It was good with the exception of a couple of coyotes wandering into the camp at 0230 and again at 0330.

Fun fact: Despite my Garmin GPS saying that it does, Page Hollow Road does not cut all the way through from Hwy 7 to Indian Creek Road. Wasted 3 hours, got quite a few pinstripes, and got into two or three hairy spots for my effort. Had to turn around when it started getting dark on me. It looks like it might have gone all the way through at one time but there were trees down across the road in multiple spots. Each time I went around downed trees the road got less and less maintained and eventually there was no path through without clearing small trees.

I actually did for a little while when it was clear where the road was. They typically frown on trees being cut in National Forests but I figured I was doing road maintenance. After a while it got difficult to tell where the road was and it started to get dark so I bailed for a more favorable camping area.

I was also way off of my planned route at that point and when I'm by myself I like to be where I said I was going to be in case something goes wrong.

Ah. Yeah probably a good idea to bail then.

I still want to run it. Even my wife said she wished she hadn't made me turn down going cause she would have liked to have tried it. Not that it was her fault.. we had to drive to Oregon.
So whenever people are up to run this.. I'm in!

Got these 12 foot step ladders for the next time I go fishing. I'd rather use my Taco, but I still have no idea if the Snorkel group buy ordered will ever deliver the product paid for in August. I'll bet I could haul my 14 foot Jon boat on that rack.

Hey guys, just wanted to post some pictures of my vacation trip thru Colorado, Arizona, and Utah. Me and a friend camped at The Great Sand Dunes National Park (Kapata Falls) the first night, Grand Canyon (Mather campgrounds) the second night, and Bryce Canyon National Park the third night. Went on into Logan, UT to snowboard and ride snowmobiles.
