    Hello all,
Finally going to be buying my first truck at 33 years old. so excited. I drove a TRD off road the other day and it was a lot nicer than I thought but that's coming from an 04 camry. I plan on keeping the truck for atleast 8-10 years. I really push them till the end and then some more. my question is since I will be going between northern NH and Colorado regularly, is it wise to invest in the TRD Pro. I want to do a lot of trail riding as I can. I travel as a nurse and often have 3-4 days in a row off so it will be perfect. I've priced what an OME or Icon suspension would cost and it is roughly the diff from TRD off road to Pro. so I'm wondering, should I just go for Pro right from factory? what are the benefits of either choice? any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks scottalot, Well, see the guy at the dealer said I could do anything I wanted to it and as long as I didn't change the bend the frame in any way then it would still be covered under warrenty. I'm not buying that and am leary about that although with what I drive I'll blow that warranty quickly. what are some of your recommendations?

congrats on the new taco  Icon, fox, king coilovers and new UCAs up front, dakar or allpro leafs and longer shocks in the back. do your research, buy once, cry once, unless you change your mind and go back to stock and take it all off  Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road is a great resource  when you want to armor up, check out SOS concepts, or your local armorer to save on shipping (front full hoop bumper, rear high clearance bumper with swingout, tire carrier, jerry can holder, and camp table, sliders, 3 piece skids, bedrack with RTT ) the list goes on ..................... and wheels, tires too

I see. well, I was in the 3-4k margin so looked at the BP-51's and icon stage 4 so far. maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself. plan on carrying a tent/fridge and gear outback moderate trails with no real significant crawling for a while. have to learn the ropes first . thanks again for the input.

if you are going to gear up with a tent and the sort, new rear leafs are a must. Dakar with the AAL, or Allpro Expo pack would suit you nicely in the rear

Who can lay out the differences with the 17 Pro vs Offroad? Stuff like the 2nd gen SR5 have a larger/stronger rear diff than the TRDs
