    If the amount is small they will. I had someone rear end my Sporttrac causing about $1000 damage and they wrote the check to me even though I had a lien. Not sure your own insurance company would do that because they have the lienholder info. Last time I filed on a windshield they cut the check to me and the ex. I thought crap I am going to have to hunt her down and get here to sign it. I just signed her name and cashed it.
