I started looking at the 2016 last year and calling dealerships but the auto transmission issues kept me from buying another taco. I own the 2013 TRD Sport DC 4X4 and other than the lack of climate control I like the truck and after test driving a 2017 Limited I started calling the dealers again to find a truck I wanted.

I wanted a OR or Sport TRD, white or silver and MT with tech packages, if I could find one with orange piping on the seats I would take it. Well, none of the dealers I spoke with could get orange piping and toyota corporate only offered to send me to a dealer. I called local dealers and the prices were around $1500 higher than picking the truck up in OR where my folks live so I got them to do a costco deal on my truck and I fly into OR to get it this Friday. Its been at the dealer for a few weeks but work kept me from flying in during thanksgiving weekend. I will end up driving her halfway across the US next weekend.

Anyhow; $36.3 OTD, tech packages, DC, white sport with MT and floormats/sills was about the best I could find. After driving the limited I really like the newer truck better than my 2013 which I still own w/49k miles. I bought her new for $30.2k but she doesnt have nav or any of the other options they offer on our newer gen trucks.
