Unlocking Cell Phones

Does any one know how to do this? I would like to use my old motorolla razor that I have, w/ a t-mobile sim card

take it to the cell phone store they will unlock it for you through a program and you can use it just make sure its a GSM phone and they will charge you like 10 bucks .....

Try this put in your sim turn on phone take out battery for less than a second. Saw it on you tube it might work

GSM means it has a slot for a sim card

 

If it's a Verizon phone it won't work with a SIM card.

No Verizon phones are GSM, because Verizon doesn't use the GSM network, only providers such as AT&T and T-Mobile use the GSM network.

 

ok reason i am saying that is because i unlocked a BB bold and used it for t-mobile for quite some time ... even though the phone sucked,it still worked.

 

Yes, Verizon runs on variant of CDMA technology where as the rest of the planet pretty much runs off of GSM. It's kind of like the U.S. and the metric system.
