I'm also running xr4 team issue front and rear. They leak very slowly but it could also be cause of old stans. I had conti trail king and mountain king on my last bike before I sold it and they held air great. Both on the same bontrager duster/rhythm wheels with stans rim strips

That's the other plus side of this BB. The threaded pipe keeps moisture from getting to the backside of the bearings.

This one is from a trip I took awhile back. Did Whitetop Station VA to Todd NC. Also referred to as the southern portion of the VA Creeper Trail.

another amateurish question, I've been looking at a new helmet and keep seeing MIPS so I kinda understand what it is but it seems like it might get annoying wile you ride? anyone have a preference either way?

Only time you should ever notice it is first when you pay the price difference for a MIPS helmet, and second if you crash and possibly suffer less brain trauma than you could have otherwise. It's a thin sheet of plastic that allows the helmet to slip upon impact instead of transferring that rotational force to your head. There should be no impact to the feel of it, or to the ventilation of the helmet. Always good to look out for your brain.

Just picked up a Giro Chronicles with the MIPS. Im liking it so far! A big upgrade from a full face helmet since I do a lot of climbing now too. doesnt fee annoying at all. Probably worth the little extra money to protect your dome.

I ride with a GIRO chronicle MIPS and find it very comfortable. I feel like it takes the pressure points away and the extra safety is nice.

I've been using the giro savant for rode and light XC riding. I've never had any issue with it. MIPS seems to be trickling down to cheaper helmets too.

Currently living in Durango Co, Few weeks age a buddy and I drove up to Moab caught a shuttle for Whole Enchilada. If you have some technical ability I highly recommend this ride. It was a true epic day. 30 miles of trail and all most all of it challenging.

And the views are not half bad....

Side note, I saw your truck in Tucson at the Pachanga back in October. Never realized you rode as well.

Yeah, I rode a bunch in college then you know how it is when you can afford motorized toys, then got back in to it 3 years ago. The bike has kept me sane on this work assignment in Durango.
