I recently completed doing the OMD mod on the '99. Springs turned out great, but I'm still at a loss as to how to measure for new shocks. I did a U bolt flip so my lower mounts will have to be relocated, but I intend to keep the stock upper mounting points. I've also kept my stock bump stops mounted to the U bolt flip. I understand that I need to measure for the shocks at full droop and full bump. I assumed I would need to do this with the full leaf pack, but I've seen some use only the main leaf to measure for full droop and bump. Which would be best? And when measuring, do I need to go until I hit the bump stops, or right when I hit negative arch?

I'm not entirely sure how much lift I've gained in the rear, I do know I'm siting dead level with my front running OME 882 and the top spacer, and my rear breakline is too close to being stretched as far as possible (extended line is coming along with the new shocks), so I've at least got 3" if not close to 4" in the rear. Are the stock bump stop suffiecient for the application? Currently I'm running 285/75/16 but I know I have room to run something taller which I would like to do in the future. If I am thinking on the right track, tire size will also factor into full bump. I would like to insure that I'm getting full use out of the rear running the way I had planned, any help is appreciated!

Bump. Any help? I took some measurements and ordered some bilstien 5125 10" stroke but I'm not entirely sure if they're going to work, I'm afraid they may end up being slightly too long.
