It is. I have one as well, I usually make more of a mess with the paint pen, than do any good. I have a few scratches on the tailgate with big blobs of paint. Guess I need a gentler touch with the paint pen. If we both make it to a meet sometime soon, I'll gladly take it. Thanks.
You got a subaru, didnt you? If so how are you liking it? I have always liked them.

I got a 2015 Legacy and I'm liking it so far. I much prefer the truck, but for a car I like it. One thing that can't be beat is the gas mileage! It's so great not getting 13 mpg.

I hear ya. My mother in law just got a 16 outback wagon, and she loves it. It is really nice. I will get to drive it soon on a road trip.

What's up guys? New to Tacoma's and TW. Could anyone recommend a decent welder that can weld the plate for a CMC?

@EatSleepTacos got his CMC welded in Pensacola. If you are going to do it let me know when, because I may tag along and get mine done also in anticipation of larger tires.

I'll let y'all know when things come together. CMC, rear shock relocation, shackle flip are all things I may need a hand with. Thanks

I wouldn't recommend the place I went to. Just felt like someone working out of their backyard and they did only an ok job. If you take it somewhere, D&D welding in Pensacola is a good place. Or just have @Alfuh do it for you. (You're more than ready to well a CMC Chris)

Hey man! Welcome! Check out our Facebook page Florida Panhandle Toyota Offroad Group. Little more active over there and we usually have better coordination on FB for offroading events.

I've been to bogs and boulders once, not a bad place if you have ATVs and dirt bikes or something, but it's not too full size vehicle friendly

    Getting there...
Got a bud with a 93 yota that he's trying to get rid of. I haven't really poked around it too much, but I know it's got frame rot and a junkyard 4runner rear on it. Anybody want it for anything, he says he doesn't want to part it, but hasn't really put much effort into getting rid of it. It just sits in a lot with a for sale sign lol Figure I'd throw it out there if anybody's looking for a donor. I can get yall in contact or ask him any questions if anybody interested.

I just found out that the Air Force is sending me to Hurlburt Field after my year in Korea. Unless of course they change their mind. Is there anything I should know? Is it a decent place to buy a house? How is the crime? How is the off-roading? Obviously I plan to take my Tacoma with me.
So unless something changes, I'll be there in about 17 months.

As far as I know, not too much bad around here. There are some parts of Fort Walton and Mary Esther you should avoid (kind of the ghetto, at least a Florida ghetto lol). Crestview is the same way but is the most popular place to buy houses. But I've seen some nice ones in Navarre which will be more feasible for you if you go to Hurby. I live off Racetrack in Fort Walton on the good side and I have not run into any issues. offroading is not bad, nothing too crazy on the panhandle, but Eglin has like 200 square miles of reservations that you can explore. We've gone out several times for hours and we still haven't explored a fraction of what we can go on
