looking for a lift kit that is around $3000. one that includes everything including a lift for the front and back. if i want a 3" lift do i need to buy aftermarket UCAs and if so what lifts include them in the kit. And would i be able to do install it at home?

    Shit on a black truck.
I just bought a stage 5 icon setup goes for $3300 they also have one for $2700 I believe including ucas. With a 3 inch or more you will want new ucas.

To protect your CV's a lift of 2.5-3" is typically the recommended high point.

Anything over that is generally going to come from drop bracket lifts instead of traditional suspension lifts.

You'll want upgraded UCA's if you're going to lift that high.

The best lift kit for you isn't necessarily about price. It's about your intended use of the truck and what you need it to do. Is it a pavement princess and you just want it to sit a little higher so it looks good? Then Bilstein 5100s might be all you need.

Or, maybe you want it to look really cool sitting in the mall parking lot? In whichcase you'll want an Icon Stage 3 kit with remote reservoirs.

i dont want to do any rock crawling on the truck but some mild dirt/snow offroading. ive heard that if you use spacers with the lift then it will make the ride super bumpy.

There are as many opinions on the answer to this question as there are assholes on Tacomaworld. Your best bet is to give a call to one of the vendors here like @Downsouth Motorsports , @HeadStrong Off-Road , @ToyTec Lifts and tell them your budget, hopes and dreams. They will work with you to get the lift that works best for you and have experience with many different brands versus the majority of users here with a single data point.

    Tires?

Honestly IDK, but Research the ADS thread. I'm very happy with my setup and running 265/70 17 and have plenty of adjustment left.

Hoarder23 hit the nail on the head. With a $3000 budget you'll have no problem getting a quality lift that will fit your needs. From my research 33,s should fit with minimal to know rubbing. Make sure you take your truck to get a properly alignment after the lift as most rubbing is due to miss alignment. UCAs are a must at 3"

I got 5100 with 885x OME coils with LR UCA in fronts which gave me about 2.5in lift and 5100 with 1.5in AAL with Firestone airbags w/Daystar cradles in the rear. it was all pieced together and bought separately and i paid 1200 all new.
