I have a 3rd Gen and the 30oz fits nicely in the cup holder behind the shifter, and kinda ok in the cup holders in front of it.

On the 2nd Gens I remember there being a cup holder between the shifter and the armrest, and I'm willing to bet it will stick in there. It won't seat all the way, but the RTIC cup is tapered, so it will go until it stops and do fine.

I was worried about messing up the paint by doing that, but I've been camping with the cup, working in the yard, left it in the sun, put it in the cup holder. The enamel and clear this guy uses is good stuff, and it's not shown any damage yet. I haven't dropped the cup, but even that would likely scratch a powder coat if it was a rough surface.

All in all, I think it will fit in your 2nd Gen cupholder and the coating has been really durable. Plus lots of people love it's Quicksand color to match the truck.
