My 2009 Tacoma Doublecab TRD Offroad was in a collision during a snowstorm. Ram 2500 work truck slid its front right corner into the center of my grill, knocking me hard against the curb on the right. Fluid dripping from transmission cooler or radiator, or both. Insurance company estimates about $7,000.00 to repair, before getting the hood up and taking things apart. The other driver was liable, and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. His insurance company has accepted 100% liability.

Aside from dealing with the insurance company, is there anything with respect to the repairs I should be watching out for? I am going to a dealer's body shop, a dealer we have bought 12 vehicles from.

See if they will compensate you for diminished value since a Taco with 7k in damage will certainly lose resale value.

You may get some better advice if you have pics of the damage to post.
