EDIT: I am no longer making these but still have a few precut decals in stock. Once these are gone that's it.

I've seen some interest in removing the warning labels from the visor mirror covers. Since these are the most difficult to remove I decided to make these custom decals to simply cover them instead.

If there is enough interest I will post these in the buy/sell forum exclusively for TW members. The logos can be made in the same color-matched vinyl that I use for my glove box and door sill protector decals.

UPDATE: These are now available here - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fs-visor-vanity-mirror-cover-decals.464685/

    PM me if interested.

Each time I see a thread I think that is the last possible place he can think of for vinyl, but then another thread shows up with something new!
What will you think of next!?

In for interest, but I want to make a suggestion. I know you and I discussed this before, but I would REALLY like a silver that matches the interior. It seems to be between the two exterior silver/magnetic colors. You sent me both colors when I ordered some other vinyl. I agree that the dark gray was too dark. The silver was pretty bright, but I used that. Just wish you had something in between.

I actually have something now that you might like. It is grey metallic (905 on the Oracal chart). It is darker than the silver grey metallic and lighter than the charcoal grey metallic. I plan on replacing my matte black tailgate decals with this color since the black is not as noticeable on MGM. I may also try it on my glove box. I will offer it as an option for the glove box, dsp, and mirror cover decals soon.

WOOHOOO. I've love to try the glovebox letters and the new visors in this color!
    Ordering when available. Thanks!

Agree. Would take the red, but would love a charcoal grey to match the interior.

Great. These are layered decals so it will take me a few days to build stock of the different colors but I will have them up as soon as possible.

Anything special to removing the old vinyl on the glovebox or just grab it with some tweezers and slowly peel?

I used a sharp pointed tool to gently lift a corner of the letters, being careful to not scratch the plastic surface underneath, until I could grab them with tweezers. Once you can grab them they should peel right off.

I would be in for some of the TRD ones in the grey metallic. Is there anyway you can make them slightly bigger to cover more of the sticker underneath? You can still see some of the border from you pictures.

The decals are layered so the border you see is actually the colored layer for the logo underneath the matte black. The logo is cut out of the matte black. I did it this way since the matte black adheres to the gloss colored layer much better than a logo decal simply applied to the top of the matte black. I made the underlying layer slightly smaller to ensure that the matte black layer covers it on all sides when I "assemble" them. The border is accentuated by the flash and is not as noticeable otherwise.
