Active Navy Corpsman going on 6 years soon, currently HM3(FMF) . Served with 3/4 over in 29 Palms, CA, now over in MD. I would say the military indirectly had an effect on my decision. A bunch of my buddies had Tacomas, and after driving their trucks and loving them, I decided it was time for me to get one.

Corpsman here. Was with 1st Marine Division LAI unit and ended up changing regs to Marine Corps. No impact on my decision to get a Tacoma although the sand color was very tempting but not available on an Access Cab.

I worded that wrong. I believe technically it's in 6 but promotable at 6 months TIG after a board appearance at E5

I got promotions duringstrum he course. Depending on your job you get promotions at certain milestones during the pipeline, but I would have likely gotten E6 in the same time-frame with my old job too.

There's 4 3'rd Gen TRDOR's on our little CG Base. About a dozen 2nd gens, and some veddy nice first gens.

The older trucks are all pretty nicely modded. I think we outnumber the jeeps, too.

To do PMC work, you usually need to be infantry at the very minimum and have some advanced schools.
