Hey man, I contacted @wileydavis today and he said "We ran out of material for the vent rings so didn't get as many made asI was anticipating last week. The good news is that more material arrives today, so we'll be shipping more out tomorrow and Friday."

I'm glad I asked. So, the diagonal distance is the 1.912", right? I may need the bundle with RAM ball.

Yep. You can mount a 4-hole AMPS ram ball if you have one, just has to be on the diagonal.

Just want to clarify, your phone mount only holds the phone horizontal?

What mount is holding the ipad on your website..This may work good for when I eventually set my Ipad up for GPS/Overlanding.

It only grips it horizontal but you can orient it however you want when using a ram ball mount. Even on a dirtbikes the phone wot budge so being gripped from the side is not an issue.

The ipad mount is a longer version of the perfect squeeze. We will be releasing that in January as well. It will hold everything g from a small phone to a full sized ipad. And same, with a ram ball you can orient it in landscape or portrait.

I'd love to be a crash test dummy for @wileydavis for at least a left knob that had a top-hat type brim to it. I think even a subtle one would keep the finger off the glass and prevent pseudo butt dial calls and station changes.

He hit one out of the park with the phone mount, I think he's on a roll.

You should have received a call or email about the delay, but a lot of time the emails go to spam. We ran out of the material we make the dash mounts from last week, but we got more in yesterday (it's not available locally) and machined a big run today. They'll be anodized tomorrow and will ship either Saturday or Monday depending on where you're at in the backlog.

Got mine this week. This mount is awesome and I'd highly recommend it. It is very solid, much more than I expected. The perfect squeeze is very well built and there's no worries of your phone slipping our.

Just installed mine. It's solid. Worth the money. The only thing I noticed was the rubber on the ram ball was wearing away on the neck, not sure if normal.

That's how most of the RAM balls seem to be made. I think that's flash from the molding process that doesn't always get completely cleaned off. There's also usually a small flat spot on top of the ball where they sand the molding flash off as well.
