    Hi All!

First-time poster here and first-time Tacoma owner as well. I've lurked this site for a while now - before and after my newest purchase - and have got to say that it/y'all has/have helped a lot not only in my purchase, but also with ideas of how best to modify and live with my new Tacoma.

First and foremost, here's a pic of my Tacoma (and bonus! my buddy's modded 4Runner TRD Pro). As of this picture, I have:
    - removed "4x4 TRD Off-Road" decals on both sides of the bed as well as the "V6" badge
    - bought a $25 120V tire-inflator and extension cord. I store this in the space behind my rear seats, though I may store it in the bed once I cover it
    - installed a door lock actuator to achieve an auto-locking tailgate (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/power-tailgate-lock.393110/)
    - driven about 11K miles including: 4-wheeling at St. Mary's Glacier and Slaughterhouse Gulch (both in Colorado), a few paved trips to hiking spots (soon to be skiing spots!), and driving to work every day

What I plan on doing as time and finances permit (and will of course post pics of) to increase the looks:
    - paint the chrome grill and remaining "TACOMA" side badging to match the body. I am nervous about this, as I am a mechanic and do not have experience with painting, and I've heard that super white is hard to match. So I might end up not doing it myself or not at all
    - paint the dash frame to match the body. See above comment about painting

What I plan on doing before winter really sets in (and will of course post pics of) to increase functionality:
    - build a custom lockable bed cover
    - build a custom in-bed ski rack. This will fit under the bed cover and sit on top of the wheel wells in the bed, enabling placement of gear below and over the skis

What I plan on doing as time and finances permit (and will of course post pics of) to increase functionality:
    - ToyTec's BOSS Coilovers for 2" of front lift
    - ToyTec's AAL and BOSS shocks for 2" of rear lift
    - Bigger tires. I'm thinking, but not set on, 265/75/16 DuraTracs
    - I'm thinking protection from PelfreyBilt (front bumper, skids, and sliders) once winter has passed

Once again, I'd like to say that I tremendously appreciate all the information that I have already gained from this site and those who maintain/add to/use it. I look forward to sharing my build as progress is made and gaining more knowledge from y'all!

    Cheers!
