Solvent and heat made it MUCH easier. I finally figured that out after the tailgate and a couple other cars.

Once the Taco is done you could put some/all of what you were paying on it toward the FJ and get it payed off quicker.

I used some thick fishing line and a 5 dollar goodwill hairdryer to get the badges off the tailgate.
Mine is an '06 and the adhesive was stubborn as hell even after dousing it with GooGone... I had to use a piece of PET film from some clamshell packaging to scrap the shit off.

After spending close to 2 hours on the 4 badges on the tailgate (Tacoma, SR5, V6 and Toyota), I didn't want to mess with the doors!

Yup, we could. Honestly the only reason the Taco isn't paid for is that I expect to earn more investing that money than the interest costs. I'm not sure if that's valid with the FJ because her rate is a little higher, but I don't remember what it is...

Nice. I've seen them before but wasn't sure how they looked on trucks. I might go w/ them cuz I don't like the led circle or the pink tint that mine have from the factory.

Changed my front diff oil and then went for round 2 on my sway bar, ended up fully committed to it coming off whether I like it or not.

    IMAG1228_zpskg39htk8_adce0560c8ad28be3cca933b051081dd7d9e9f11.jpg

The 6mm socket on the end of the bolt just became too stripped out to make it the last few millimeters of the nut, so I just had to take a hack-saw to the bolt. The other side went a whole lot easier, but now if I end up wanting to put it back on I'm going to need to replace that bolt.

And now I'm sure I need to do the front differential side bearing fix. The driver side driveshaft is unsettlingly loose.

    I paid l
It's kind of crazy to pay that much to replace good headlights, but I am happy that such a subtle difference made such a big impact. When I replaced my chrome grill for color matched pro, the headlights just stuck out like a sore thumb.
